The Almost Girl

This last week a girl I knew was murdered. I didn't know her very well, but I talked to her every day where she worked. She always had a smile on her face and in her heart. She was the hardest working person I ever knew. She was only 32 and had a 4 year old daughter. It really through me for a loop. I am only 5 years older than her and you never know when it's our time to go. If it had been me what would my tombstone say, right now, with what I have done so far? I am afraid that I would be called the "Almost Girl". I have great ideas and intentions, but I am one of those people who gets so close to success and then I give up or get distracted by life and go into survival mode. I want to so many things that it's hard to narrow it down. I am nearing 40 and it is time to break this cycle. If you are in a similar place, join me to break this cycle together.
