Create the best you possible!

Have you ever had one of those times in your life when it seems everything you see and hear has the same message? That is where I am right now. Everything is about making yourself the best person that you can be in order to create the life you want. It's really a powerful reality to swallow. But, it has been proven to be true time and time again. We are the most powerful magnets in the universe. We are what we think about and become. Think about all the amazing things you can create and become and how you can contribute. How can you be of service? Here is my quote of the day. Hope it resonates with you the way it did for me.

"You make the world a better place by making yourself a better person."-- Scott Sorrell

Quote of the Day

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
- Eleanor Roosevelt

It is truly one of my favorite quotes. Because I think that we all have times in our lives that we feel inferior and that leads to not feeling good about ourselves and not having the belief that we can do something. I heard yesterday that the way to become more valuable and to create more wealth is to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. This is so true. I love my job, but I can tell you that when I stop listening to motivational speakers and stop reading books that fill me up I start feeling inferior more and more. Find a motivational speaker that you can relate to and listen to them. I always have a few in my car to choose from. It help remind me what I already know... we are all divine and amazing and can accomplish anything we set our minds to do. There are many free resources on the internet. One that I enjoy offers a free MP3 each week. www.mp3motivators.com Enjoy!

Use commercial breaks for Success

What is on your bucket list? What have you been putting off in your daily life? Make a list of what you would like to accomplish today, in the next week, month, and/or year and get to working on them. Start with the small things. If you have something that is huge, break it up into small achievable tasks that you can work on a little bit every day. I have things that I do during commercials. I'm not going to lie... I have my favorite TV shows that I watch. But, I am watching less and less and making the most out of commercial breaks and pausing live TV. Get up and unload the dishwasher, change over the laundry (and you can be folding it while you watch TV), vacuum a room, dust, water your plants, or get up and jog in place for 3 minutes. You will be absolutely amazed at how much more you get done if you did this every commercial break during just 1 one hour show! Here is our quote for today!

Put off for one day, and ten days will pass.

Breaking Through Procrastination

Does procrastination keep you from having what you want? It has definitely kept me from having things that I want in life. I was always so afraid of what others were going to think about me if I pursued those things that I wanted that I let it hinder me. Or, I would get so caught up with just surviving in the world, and paying the bills, buying my kids clothes and food, that I put the dreams on the back burner, thinking I would get back to them later. Or even more often, I would put the weight of saving the world on my shoulders, when I couldn't even save myself. I would start a homebased business, but then trade if for a second job that paid barely enough to help me get by. They say that "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Well, I was ready, the teachers appeared, and I blew them off. How dumb is that? But, you know the great thing? You can start whereever you are today, this very minute! You can make big changes or small ones. Let me tell you, consistantly making small changes can add up to massive growth!

The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn't matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark. --Barbara Hall

The Almost Girl

This last week a girl I knew was murdered. I didn't know her very well, but I talked to her every day where she worked. She always had a smile on her face and in her heart. She was the hardest working person I ever knew. She was only 32 and had a 4 year old daughter. It really through me for a loop. I am only 5 years older than her and you never know when it's our time to go. If it had been me what would my tombstone say, right now, with what I have done so far? I am afraid that I would be called the "Almost Girl". I have great ideas and intentions, but I am one of those people who gets so close to success and then I give up or get distracted by life and go into survival mode. I want to so many things that it's hard to narrow it down. I am nearing 40 and it is time to break this cycle. If you are in a similar place, join me to break this cycle together. We can help each other to the top and to bush past the barriers that we have put in our own way! As Mike Litman says, "You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going!"

Life beyond....

Hey everyone. My name is Leanna and I have always been one that wanted to help people and inspire them when they needed it the most. I try to remain positive for those in my life. I know I have my funk periods too, but I always come out of them feeling stronger, inspired and more determined to help others who have a harder time getting out of their funk. For several years now I've sent out a quote of the day to family, friends, and co-workers, in hopes of making a difference in one of their lives. It's so amazing to me that, thanks to the internet, we have access to reach more people and help each other in ways that didn't used to be possible. So, for my blog I will send out a daily dose of inspiration and hope that it will touch at least one life. Also, I want to hear your stories. Do you need to be inspired or are you looking to inspire others too? Talk to me. We all can use a daily dose.... now more than ever.
